The Seoul Metropolitan Government has prepared transportation measures to minimize traffic congestion in Yeouido and help citizens watch safely, as the FESTA, which commemorates the 10th anniversary of BTS's debut, was held at Yeouido Hangang Park on June 17.
On Saturday, June 17, the Yeouido Hangang Park event will be held from 12:00 to 22:00 as the main event of 2023 BTS FESTA, and the police decided to completely control Yeouido-dong-ro (in front of the 63 Building at the southern end of Mapo Bridge) from 14:00 that day.
Bus detours to Yeouido-dong-ro from 12 o'clock, intensive dispatch of buses and additional subway operations during returning home hours
On this day, all 23 bus routes (including two village buses and three Gyeonggi buses) via Yeouido-dong-ro will be bypassed. Accordingly, four bus stops, including Yeouido Middle School and Yeoui Ferry, are temporarily unavailable during the event, but measures will be taken to get on and off at nearby stops on the bypass route.

On this day, 174 safety personnel will be deployed at 13 stations around the venue, including Yeouido Station and Yeouido Station, five times more than usual. In addition, as fireworks are scheduled for 30 minutes from 20:30 on the day of the event, Yeouido Station (Line 5) closest to the venue will pass without stopping or temporarily close the entrance depending on the congestion level for safety.
If it is decided to pass without stopping, it will be guided in advance through announcements and on-site personnel at all stations and trains, and citizens can use Yeouido Station (Line 5 and 9), Mapo Station (Line 5), and Saetgang Station (Line 9, Sillim Line) instead of Yeouido Station (Line 5).
For pedestrian safety, the city intensively cracked down on vehicles that cause traffic congestion by illegally parking and stopping on nearby roadsides and Han River bridges, and prohibits the return and rental of public bicycles and personal mobile devices in Yeouido.
